Almanac - Privacy

*school project

For a school project, I had the opportunity to create an almanac focused on the concept of privacy and the lack of it. Over the course of a week, I photographed all the cameras I encountered and made screenshots of people on public surveillance cameras in the Netherlands. There are a few websites where you can just view camera’s over the world. These camera’s are not protected so everyone can just log in.

Instead of having a traditional cover, the book begins directly inside. The front and back of the book are made from acrylic glass, showcasing that everything is just out in the open. Privacy does not exist anymore in this world.
